Kind of Beta

Be honest: You did not expect vjj68 to return, did you? We sure didn’t. Technical complications, which eventually caused psychological exhaustion, endangered the continuation of this very ambitious project. Fortunately, thanks to Far Eastern meditation techniques and opiates, we were able to put all the problems behind us, and launch the new and improved version of vjj68.

*Pause for applause*

Nevertheless, as you might have noticed, the website isn’t entirely done. We are working on making sure that the website works on all (modern) browsers, tweaking the design and adding content. You, the beta testers, are invited to help us to ensure that the website provides useful content and an effective user interface. By submitting your feedback in the designated forum, you will be of great help optimizing the website. We truly appreciate your help and interest.

    Thanks! I will certainly let you know. I am not quite done yet and there are still things I need to install and design, but I’ll let you know as soon as the actual beta-testing can start.

      What Theme for WP did you use? Did you make your own CSS based one?

        I did base the theme on a theme called “Equilibrium”. By now, most of the CSS is “mine” and I have done some other major edits, added some custom scripts, etc. To be honest, I am a little behind on “my schedule” and the design isn’t quite done. I have created a forum to facilitate the beta test discussions. I shall send you the login information as soon as I get to it. ;)

          Nice changes. I’ve seen that theme. I could not of guessed that it once was that. I’m still clumbsy with CSS, but I know how not to break it.. Dig around for a admin lock, that requires a passcode to even see the admin sign in page. I forgot what it’s called. I have one on a joomla site. Saved my bacon after a PHP injection on one page.

  And yes, I have modified the original layout a lot. As mentioned before, there’s still plenty to do and images I have to design. Also: I am sending you the forum information in about 5 minutes. I’d love to have you there!
