Twitter Give-Away
Even though we have already announced it in our previous October Schedule article, we felt like our awesome Twitter Give-Away needed its own announcement. So here it is: We are giving away one Steam-version of the Grand Theft Auto Classics series.
What you have to do: Follow Us on Twitter and re-tweet the following message: “@vjj68 Total paranoia is just total awareness. #inspirational” It really is as simple as that.
What are you still doing here? Make that blue bird sing!
Deadline: 10/31/11
October Schedule
It seems hard to believe that it is already October. Shouldn’t the rapture have taken place by now? The world economy hasn’t crumbled yet and we are still not enslaved under a communist regime instituted by zombie-Stalin.
Time just flies when you’re high on glue, scuttling around in a ditch next to an intersection, proclaiming the rapture, whether the poor bastards at the red light want to hear it or not. You still have a home to call your own? Well, lucky you.
Enough of the pessimistic jibber-jabber, it is time for some awesome October announcements.
- 10/22 – VICE fx Episode 2: The rumors are true: There’s a second VICE fx episode in the making!
- 10/25 – P.45 PhotoMag: A ~30 page magazine with some amazing Liberty City photography.
- 10/31 – Twitter Give-Away Deadline: Read More!
- Sometime October – Chauffeur 2: Yes, you can believe your eyes. The second part of the fantastic Chauffeur movie will be released exclusively on vjj68!
If that doesn’t make you want to come back for more, we don’t know what will. More nude pictures of Lola?

Golden Tie Contest Winner: Fuget Sudo
The polls are closed, the results are in. We hereby announce Fuget Sudo as the winner of last week’s VW Golden Tie Contest. He is the first director to be awarded the Vinewood Week Golden Tie.
The result, gaining 42% of the votes, doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, considering Fuget Sudo has won prizes for his directing work before. We congratulate him for this achievement and are looking forward to featuring his future work in eager anticipation.
The winner of the community (non-director) award of the Silver Bow Tie will be announced within the next couple of days. We want to thank all the people participating in this poll, commenting on the videos and getting the word out.
Vinewood Week: Recap + Contest
What a beautiful week. We laughed, we cried, we came. 7 tantalizing days, 7 talented directors—but only one can win.
For Directors: The Golden Tie
Obviously, last week was one epic win for humanity. Nevertheless, Vinewood wouldn’t be a legitimate movie festival, if there weren’t any prizes to win. Hence we proudly announce that we will be awarding a Golden Tie to one of the directors you have seen in the last few weeks. And just for the record: No, the tie is not actually made out of real gold. But it is made out of real fabric—so you’ll actually be able to wear it! It’s just our way to show our appreciation of their talents. Besides, it’s the year 2011—who wants dust-attracting statuettes anyway.
For Voters: The Silver Bow Tie
The decision makers are you, the people. So vote and support your favorite director by getting the word out. (Or we will kill kittens again, seriously.) Additionally, by either re-tweeting, sharing or commenting on this contest (and participating in the poll) you are eligible to win the Silver Bow Tie give-away. Add a classy twist to your summer style. We truly appreciate your participation.
The entries and poll can be found below. Poll closes Sunday, June 26th at 12am, PST.
